Michael & Betty Terry

Michael is the lead project manager and Betty is the principle designer. The two like to spend their weekends at their bespoke home in La Quinta, CA — the very same town they met. Michael was Betty’s landlord in the early 1990’s and they’ve since been happily married for over 25 years. They have two daughters, Maggie & Grace.

This self-made duo demonstrates the power of a strong work ethic and a timeless vision. Their shared down to earth essence offers their clients a breath of fresh air and sense of reliability during the exciting design & build process. They’ve fostered a strong sense of community and part ways as friends with all of their clients. They’re definitely not your average contractor/designer couple (in the best way possible).

It all begins with a wishlist that invites you to mull over which key components of a home will best suit your family’s needs and lifestyle. It’s an exciting first step and it fosters an intentional approach to the rest of the design/build process.

Communicate.
Custom homes are all about the details. Whether or not our team is supporting you in finish selections, we will create design documents for clear & concise communication between all trades and project managers to ensure a seamless project trajectory.

Design.
We have a network of talented architects that both our team and clients enjoy working with in bringing their vision to life. We also offer an in-house design service which involves selecting appliances, tile, stone, lighting, paint, cabinet design, etc.

Collaborate.
An inevitable part of the build process is problem solving — even with a bulletproof set of architectural plans and design spec sheets. Our project managers and subcontractors are experienced at developing innovative solutions through collaborative effort.

Build.
One of our project managers will be on site daily to ensure projects are progressing as expected. Throughout construction we serve as the liaison between all subcontractors, engineers, city inspectors, designers, and vendors.

Maintain.
Our relationship with our clients and their homes is ongoing — it’s something we pride ourselves on. We stand by our product and are always willing to be a resource for any maintenance, repairs, or updates our clients need help with (yes, even years later).
